Arrival

The car-free village is reachable by train, car, taxi and helicopter. 

The train journey to Zermatt gives you a great chance to  first take in the mountain air.
Vehicles can be conveniently parked in the parking garage of the Matterhorn Park Terminal in Täsch and you can then reach Zermatt by a 12 minutes train journey.  The shuttle trains are every 20 minutes. 

Passengers can get directly into the train at the airport and can reach Zermatt from Zurich- Kloten with in 3 ½ hours, at Geneva- Cointrin in 4 hours with a single change in Visp. 

Alternativelyes are taxis, helicopter (Air Zermatt) or the Glacier Express are available.
